China's localization of UV/EB cured Hot-melt adhesive and supporting coating equipment has made breakthrough progress, which is expected to enable new changes in China's Hot-melt adhesive industry. Data shows that in 2020, the output growth of China's Hot-melt adhesive industry will exceed 4%, and even 12.04% in 2021. The total output value of the industry has reached nearly 25 billion yuan, becoming a truly sunrise industry.
The outstanding product of Hot-melt adhesive industry is adhesive tape. Tape is a common product in the market and widely used. Applying glue on the film looks very simple. However, how to apply glue to the film is a highly technical process, and the use of glue, how to apply, and how to design the equipment are all innovative points.
The traditional method is to apply liquid adhesive on the film. However, liquid glue above 150 degrees Celsius needs to be applied to the film, which cannot cause it to melt or deform, which is a challenge. It can be directly applied to the substrate after being heated and diluted, and many intermediate steps of traditional heat cured pressure sensitive adhesive coating equipment can be omitted.
